Customizing how a flipbook looks

Choose the page effect, background, logo, background music, and control buttons in the editor's Design and Controls tabs.

Open the flipbook in the editor. Changes show in the preview right away and can be undone with ⌘Z / Ctrl+Z. Click Save (or press ⌘S / Ctrl+S) to publish them to readers. Prefer saving on every change? Click the ⚙ icon next to Save and turn on Save automatically.

Magazine	Thin paper: every page, including the cover, curls as it turns. Magazines, catalogs, folded brochures
Book	A rigid hard cover, a shaded spine, and a visible block of pages on the edges. Books, annual reports, course books
Single page	Turns one sheet at a time. Brochures, portrait documents on phones
Slider	Horizontal swipe. Product catalogs, presentations
Cover flow	Pages lined up in 3D. Portfolios, galleries

Right to left (RTL) for Arabic publications.
Page-turn sound and page numbers.
Show title: the flipbook title appears above the book.
Start page: the flipbook opens on a specific page.

Background

Choose Cover blur (the blurred cover, matches automatically), a Color, or your own Image.

Logo

Upload your logo; it shows in the viewer's top-left corner and can link somewhere, such as your website.

Background music

Upload a music file (MP3, M4A, OGG, or WAV) to play while the flipbook is read, such as soft music for a catalog or a jingle for a magazine. Turn on Loop to keep it playing.

Browsers don't allow sound to start on its own. The music starts when the reader first touches or clicks the flipbook, and readers can always turn it off with the music button in the toolbar.

Google Analytics

Enter your GA4 Measurement ID (G-XXXXXXX) to send reader data to your own Google Analytics. This is available on selected paid plans; see Pricing.

Controls tab

Button style: color, shape (round, square, minimal), and toolbar position: top, bottom, left, or right. A left/right toolbar stands in a column beside the book; on phones it moves below automatically.
Buttons shown: choose which buttons appear: first/last page, previous/next, table of contents, page thumbnails, page bookmarks, text search, zoom, share, download PDF, sound, and fullscreen.

Button	What readers get
Page thumbnails	Every page as a small picture, to jump straight to any page
Page bookmarks	Mark important pages with the ribbon in the page's top corner or the toolbar button; bookmarks stay in the reader's browser for their next visit

The table of contents, search, and download buttons only appear when they are available for that flipbook. For example, download only shows when you allow PDF downloads in the Privacy tab.

Click View at the top of the editor to try it as a reader.
